The (earlier) double-stroke Leica M3. Serial number indicates a batch of 5000 manufactured in 1957.
Purchased from the reputable independent Leica dealer Red Dot Cameras in London.
The lens is a Summitar 5cm (50mm) f 1:2 Serial 629544.(with a screw thread, adaptor, included). The lens collapses into the body to make it more compact when carrying.
It works properly. I’m selling it because it needs to be used more.
L-seal intact. (See http://www.kenrockwell.com/leica/m3/buyers-guide.htm for an explanation)
Included Items:
Camera body.
Screw to bayonet adaptor.
Lens.
Original metal lens cap.
